MONTHS IN THE MAKING! You know how you’ll keep som MONTHS IN THE MAKING! You know how you’ll keep some #effectspedals because they’ve got sentimental value? Well, I realised I had 3 filter pedals I’d never sell, so I bought some more and make a FILTER PEDAL BOARD 😁. This is an extension board for my main one, which has an HX stomp loop available. That’ll cope with putting a limiter after the board to ensure it’s kept under control for level! Already tinkered with the @drolofx Kiwami after the SYB-5 and that sounds BONKERS. The SYB has the EV-5 plugged into it, so it makes amazing sounds. This is a Drolo Kiwame, or rather, this is the ins This is a Drolo Kiwame, or rather, this is the inside of one. It had a huge knock and one of the knobs stopped working. It was something of a bargain, and I took a bet I’d be able to fix it. I had to source the parts from the US (but I did get a new very cool pair of multifunctional pliers to pad the order out), and I managed to fix it this evening. The red wires are my addition: the two boards were previously connected with rigid wire, which made disassembly extremely tricky. After removing those, and replacing the pot (which was a job and a half), I put it all back together with enough wire to let me take it apart without separating the boards. This thing sounds truly weird, and it’s going on the filter pedalboard. A ring modulator is now mine!
